Irrigation

Some tasks included in these scheduled inspections are:

• Complete a full test run

• Check pump, bore, cabinet and general operation

• Check coverage and consistency of water application

• Replace any broken sprinklers, valves, coils or any other parts

• Adjust sprinklers arc and flow rate as required

• Set and program appropriate run times dependent on weather and water allocation; ensure water allocations for each park are adhered to

• Read flow meter readings for all parks, collate and send data to the Water Corporation

• Wiring, troubleshooting and repairs

• Pipework repairs

• Minor installation and modification works

• Active Sports Grounds are routinely checked

• Irrigated passive reserves are routinely checked o

• Irrigated streetscapes through the Armadale and Kelmscott CBD are routinely checked 

• Irrigated streetscapes throughout the suburban streets are routinely checked 

• All sites are checked at 3 minutes per station with maintenance being carried out to irrigation pipes, valves, sprinklers, cabinets, pumps and tanks as required
