This annual competition is hosted by Birtwistle Local Studies Library and continues to build the libraries photographic collection alongside preserving moments in time from the City’s history.
Mayor Ruth Butterfield said: “The City of Armadale is growing rapidly, and we are seeing a lot of change across all our suburbs as we actively build and upgrade the infrastructure and facilities to service our residents.
“FOCUS allows us to capture the present and preserve these snapshots in time, whilst providing an opportunity to build an extensive photography collection for future use by the community and researchers. Congratulations to all our winners and placegetters, and a big thank you to all our amateur photographers who sent in submissions this year.”
